The website isn’t going to be the same all the time. As we progress through the season, we are going to be updating images across the site. If you are interested in having your car featured (and we hope you are) you can submit your image for inclusion.
Here is what we like:
- NO IMAGES TAKEN BY TRACK PHOTOGRAPHERS!!!!
- It isn’t fair that these folks dedicate their time and resources to capture great images and do not get compensated for it. So to that end, we WILL NOT use them
- Action shots or something different. We like your cars, but having some element of interest make everyone pause and look
- Multiple cars! The style that we use (a photoshop filter product) lends itself really well to multiple cars and interesting backgrounds.
- Daytime photos are best.
- Cars with a lot of contrast will be favored, but as you can see by the image of this article it isn’t always those who will be used.
If your image is submitted, I will do my best (as those on social media have already seen) to send you an image even it we do not use it.
Some of the images that were submitted are now included in the gallery on the front page of the website.
Xcel Chassis wants this area to be a place where Xcel Modified Teams can come and get information directly from the source. As this area is realized, we hope to make it the place for us to put out information, notices and official responses to anything Xcel.
That doesn’t mean that we will stop on Facebook or other social media, but that this is intended to be the place (especially for those who aren’t on social media) for everyone to get the message the way it was intended. Please tell people about this area – Thanks in advance!
